Fiji's Ministry of Agriculture is sounding the alarm over a growing concern that threatens the very essence of kava quality. "The packing of kava for export is a critical issue we are addressing," Kuridrani explained. "We've discovered that some packages exported to Australia contained flour mixed with kava. This is a serious matter, and we're taking proactive steps to ensure it doesn't happen again."

Kuridrani announced that they are working on regulating kava prices to ensure farmers receive fair compensation for their efforts.
